THealthy Tip
DIt's a familiar story...... You make weekly goals to be healthier. A daily elliptical routine, counting every last calorie, cutting out sugar, etc..... But soon, you're eating cupcakes at the office and grabbing happy hour mojitos, thinking, Oops! Diet over..... :(
There is a better way. Swap the "all-or-nothing" approach for one or two healthy switch-ups in your daily routine. Maybe the next 2 weeks decide to cut back on your soda intake. If it's a daily occurance, then try 4 times a week. Slowly widdiling it down to nothing (or where your goal is). Do this with anything that you can do to improve your health. Same with being active. If you dont normally workout, deciding to add 5 days a week of 1 hour workouts is probably not realistic. Start with a pedometer and challeenge yourslef with steps or maybe go to the gym 2x a week and lift weights. Something that you know you can do to get started. Rememeber it needs to be better than what you are doing now!
Once you have mastered that, step it up or add another thing to your "bettter self" list. Baby steps is the answer and then keep growing until you are seeing/feeling the changes because they will come. As long as you are making changes, you will change in some way for the better! Good luck!
